Overview:
- For the 2026 Summer Term Scholarship Granite Edvance will award a total of up to $30,000, in scholarship amounts of up to $1,000 and $1,500, depending on the type of program the awardee is enrolled in.
- You may apply to multiple scholarship categories, however, a new application must be completed for each submission.
Eligibility Requirements:
Open to New Hampshire legal residents who, as of the end of the date of the Scholarship Period:
- Will be attending 2-year Colleges and Trade Schools during the Summer 2026 term of 2025–2026 academic year (a “College Student”) at a qualifying Title IV eligible college or university (“Eligible Institution”) as identified on the US Department of Education’s 2025–26 or 2026-27 Federal School Code List of Participating Schools, depending on the institution’s term structure.
- Are able to demonstrate New Hampshire residency to the satisfaction of Granite Edvance Corporation (i.e. valid driver’s license or any State or Federally issued document);
- Attained a cumulative Grade-point Average (GPA) or equivalent of at least 2.0 at the time of application.
- Demonstrate financial need as evidenced by the Student Aid Index from FAFSA. Only students with a Student Aid Index of less than $40,000 are eligible to be awarded. Student must be able to submit the FAFSA and share their SAI to be considered.
- Students must provide financial aid offer in order to be awarded.
*Applicants who are under 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian read and agree to these Terms and Conditions in order to accept the Scholarship if selected as an Awardee.
**An awardee may receive only one (1) scholarship per Academic Year. Granite Edvance defines an Academic Year as the time period that begins with a Fall term and includes the Spring term and Summer term that immediately follow. Awardees from prior Academic Years are eligible to apply.
***Granite Edvance employees and their family members are not eligible to apply for the Scholarship.

Leadership & Community Service
- True leadership and service are about taking action to create positive change and uplift others. Share how your involvement in leadership or service has shaped your character, the impact you have made, and how you plan to continue driving meaningful change throughout college and beyond.
1st Generation Student
- This scholarship is for first-generation college students. For purposes of this scholarship, a first-generation student is someone whose parents did not complete a bachelor’s degree. Reflect on how your experiences as a first-generation student have influenced your goals and perspective, the obstacles you have overcome, and how you will carry that strength forward to succeed in college and open doors for yourself and those who follow.
Academic Excellence
- Academic achievement is more than grades. It reflects curiosity, commitment, and the drive to excel when faced with challenges. This scholarship celebrates students who have demonstrated strong academic success and who are eager to build on that foundation in college. Share how your academic journey has shaped your approach to learning, how it has prepared you for the demands of higher education, and how you will use your achievements as a springboard for future growth. Please note that for this category, GPA is weighted more heavily in the review process. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Life Experience
- Every journey is different, shaped by the unique moments and challenges that define us. This scholarship celebrates the diverse experiences that lead students to college. Describe the life experiences that have most influenced your growth, what they have taught you about yourself and the world, and how they have prepared you to embrace the opportunities and challenges ahead.

Registration opens on January 19, 2026. Registration closes on April 1, 2026 at 4:59 pm ET.
